Excellent idea with great execution!
I really think the concept is solid. It feels like this should have been sucking quarters from my pocket in some smoky bowling alley when I was knee-high to a grasshopper. :) The control is also excellent. I'ts cool how when you have the extenders, you can really crack that skull with an angled smash!
A few minor suggestions though. First, I thought there were too many powerups, they rain down like crazy and it makes them feel less valuable. My second and final complaint is the repetitive music, but that's no biggy.
