AS is fucked

You know that most of your AS is fucked up in all your other tuts.This did not work along with your other tuts they did not work(except for your invetory on I didn't do that one).You might want to remake these tuts with updated AS because none work.Plz tell me or answer the best you can why it did not work.I thought you needed to know this plus you can't copy and paste the script which is probably why it did not work.Fix these probs and this tut will be thabomb(to me because I'm itching litterally to make a small RPG for Newgrounds).

I want to start by thanking you for making an easy to use health bar (and I’ve looked).
I also had the same problem as Butchall but it works for me now I wish I knew what I did but I don’t remember I just messed with it till it started working.

All that being said can anyone tell me how to limit my health bar? I’m using it in an RPG and I want to start out with 100 hp and as I level I want the max hp to go up but right now when I use a health potion my hp just keeps going up.

I’m using dynamic text boxes as well as the health bar from this tutorial to represent my health, so if anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

ive done exactly as the instructions told me to, ive tried it several times yet it still isnt working, is it because i have a shitty, outdated version of flash (MX) or am i doing something wrong?

other than that it was a pretty well presented tutorial but it didnt really help me becasuse it has not worked.

Well i am glad that you are making several of these. To make sure that the survive newgrounds i will try to vote five on the every day. but i really wish that once you make all of them you combine them in to one super tut. enjoy life

Usually I am very supportive with tutorials and these kinds of flashes ... but truth be said ... there's an "oversupply" of tutorials here... especially of tutorials that just took less than a few hours of the author's time to whip up and send to the portal ...

You see , you are trying to provide useful information to users... but the way you tried to present it was just very bad...

Quite simply ... it was a tiny white text on a black background full of "copy-and-pastes" type of info that don't really teach anything...
What you are pretty much trying to do is like giving a car to a caveman ... he won't know what the hell to do with it because he just doesn't know how to use it!

Next time , try to be more "graphic" and actually try on your tutorials... if you're just posting "copy-and-paste" information... you're not really helping anybody.

mmmmmm yea I see your point but where did u get all the copy pastes... I don't think I used ONE. "He won't know what to do with it"? How about reading it for learning how to do a health bar. Man I've been trying to do this for over a week, now that I know I'm helping guys like me (clearly not you).
