Reviews for "Reflections >Dubstep<"

Wow...

This track is epic win. once 3:14 hit, i had to turn it up... total and complete bliss... turned it up more, i teared up it was so good. This is music at it's very finest. major props and I hope you make it big. Best dubstep i've ever heard right here.

mr-jazzman responds:

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words! I really really hope one day that I can make a song like this again with as much passion. I think, though, it's something that only comes to me about once a year lol. Thanks again, and keep your ears peeled as ever! ;)

Well...

It would appear that, with dubstep, I have been missing out on an entire genre of awesomeness. Whatever you're doing right (as I'm only just discovering dubstep), keep it up.

mr-jazzman responds:

Thanks for the support man, and keep listening to dubstep! =D It's a fantastic genre!

Simply awe inspiring.

I hardly login to newgrounds, I usually just troll around, download whatever, and be done with it, but I can't stop listening to this, and felt I had to leave a positive review. I've listened to this one, and your remastered one. Too be honest, I like this one *much* much better. The remastered one is no-where near... Bassey? ( Idk if there's a word for More Bass, other than.. Well.. More bass :P ) Anyway, your remastered version, doesn't 'thump' ANYWHERE near as much as this one, and for some, that's a good thing, but if your truly a Dubstep fanatic; thump = pump. If you know what I mean :D. I do enjoy the remastered version on headphones, but even with a pretty damn good sub, I can't 'feel' the remastered as much as this, it seems as if you just took an EQ and turned up the highs, and turned down the lows, but that's just my opinion of course, amazing work on both, this is, in my mind, the epitome of Dubstep.

All in all, both ones are AMAZING, and I felt I should let you know, make more songs like this, and you sir, have yourself a career.

Good day. :D

mr-jazzman responds:

I honestly don't understand how people could say there isn't enough bass in the remastered version! =( I even added a sub bass TO it, so how in the hell could it even be possible that there is no bass on it? >Sigh<...I dunno man, it's driving me nuts...add more bass, and to actually come out with less for some people. It's kind of an anomaly, because I LOVE my subs. And it sounded UBER-bassy in my car, so I really don't understand what's going on here! =(

Thanks for the review though man, glad I could get a rare NG-er to come and leave me a review! =)

Dear god...

Sorry in advance for such a short review, but I'm just so awestruck...

This has to be like the 30th some time I've listened to this song, and I still keep loving it more every time. It has to be one of the best Dubstep songs I've ever heard. If you had mastered it a little better, it would be completely perfect, but even so it's still at the top of my list. Everything about it is just incredible.

Is it OK with you if I use this in my next live show? That would be so awesome!!!

-HLS

mr-jazzman responds:

Dude, of course, use it! >=D And I DID remaster it, it just got 0-bombed to oblivion because it apparently didn't have enough bass. I'm thinking about just redoing the song from scratch altogether again, since it's a difficult one to master. Thanks man!

Just cuz it's so awesome~

This has to be like, one of the three songs on Newgrounds that people just HAVE to listen to. My favorite dubstep song, if not one of my favorites overall.
The introduction, just kills you from the start. You don't think it can get any better, then all of a sudden.... BAM dubstep in your face.
My favorite thing, however, is near the middle, when it goes quiet and ambient, and you bring back that soft, high lead. Sounds like a cry of pain. Absolutely love it.
Okay I'm done~
Make more like this! I love the loud "Yayayaya" part. I guarantee I'll download it, 5/5 it and 10/10 it if you do~ It's too bad there arent' more songs like this, my mp3 player wouldn't have any more extra space if there were~ =/

mr-jazzman responds:

Haha whoa that's a huge compliment my friend! Thank you! Yeah, that little ambient part is definitely my favorite part too. Thanks again man! =D
