Reviews for "Driving Train v1.0"

Too many bugs

The car would collide with the cones when there was a good distance between them, and you could practically turn the car around on the spot. I liked it but think it needs fixing before it gets through the Portal.

BUGS

what the HECK is up with the car? i would be driving through the couse just fine then all of a sudden i crash for no reason! theres alot of bugs in this game. try using Game Maker. its a whole lot easier.

???

hey when i drive in the course my car has a bad car crash and i did not even touch the bomb!!!!!!!!!

needs alot of work

1st of all there are some definate problems with collision detection. You really need to work out those bugs. there were also times where i should have died but got credit for the goal instead.

A story would be nice, no matter how cheesy. even if its rediculously cheesy like "you are capitan so-and-so taking his super, ultra drivers licence test", a story adds unparalelled depth to anything.

your interface left much to be desired to. try to organize it better. My game design porfeser gave me the suggestion of drawing up flow charts to map out the interface and which buttons go where, and to draw up very rudimentary images of where the buttons will appear on the screen.

1, Sorry for the low score, but i try to be a little harder on game submissions as its my chosen profetion.

Nicely done, simply lacking vitals

Good choice of music, nicely drawn graphics, and that's the end of it. There is no indication of your score, the code system sucks (it should at least be the code for the next level, not the previous one), and the collision detection is simply terrible. The physics are nice though.

But get that collision detection sorted, it makes the game not only not fun, but actively unfun.
There are tutorials for it on NG, even (find a thread in flash with AS: in it's title and click the link to AS: Main if it's provided. Find it from there).
