ok
that was a pretty good tut especially compared to all the crap i have seen. there is a bug though. while i was in the platformer section at the end the car from the previous section came in the screen and it was there the rest of the time.

not great for people who want to learn
a tutorial, in any case, should teach you HOW to use the coding not just tell you to cut and paste it and hey presto it works. perhaps the user wishes to use the code not exctly as you wrote it, or just for the purpose you give an example for. if you explain what the code means the user can interpret it and use it for thier own use, thus making it a usefull tutorial. i'm tired of looking at these tut's covering the same ground in the same shallow depth.
if a newbie wanted to cut and paste coding into thier flash then just go and check out the forums, there they have a load of stuff exactly like this. no dought that the tutorial writers grabbed most of thier content off the forums anyway.

that was a realy good tutorial...it explained everything pretty clearly. also to cloud 109, if you actually went throught the tutorial you would realise that there are demos when you use the arrowkeys...jerk.
