Reviews for "Nightmare House"

That wasn't bad

Kinda lame, though

Not bad, but...

Where you high when you made that walkthrough? After the point where I put in the 5023 code, it says: "Go up the ladder". But, the only place I can go is DOWN. I suppose that was a typo. Next, the walkthrough says: "Examine the box, get the upstairs key." But when I go down, I see no box. I see three doors and a Red/Blue light. Now the obvious riddle here is that you must turn both lights on to open the middle door. The door on the right is easy to open by reflecting the blue laser, however I have no idea what to do in the room on the left. It says that the "board is loosely attached." I've tried using every item on it, but nothing works. And your walkthrough doesnt even seem to mention these rooms, how odd.

Mabye you should smoke weed after you've made your walkthrough, not during.

You read the guide for elm street, not nightmare house

...

Having played the original, I feel I should review the "remake".

It's basically the exact same as the first version. You havn't really improved upon the graphics at all, and you still have that annoying musical loop for every single room. You need more variation with the sound effects and atmospheric effects. Play Exmortis and see what I'm talking about. I'm a big Nightmare fan, this has a lot of potential. You need different music for all the rooms, more things that pop up and make you jump out of your seat. The foundations are there for a good experience, you just need to work on it a bit more.

This is just too much like the original game for me.

Code to lockbox

Heres a tip the code to the lock box thats in the medicine cabinet is 12 1 15

The first one's better.

I expected to have the same nostalgic feeling I had when I played the original game.
It reminded me of my childhood, the Nightmare on Elm Street movies and the serial killer who haunted my dreams when I was a kid.

But I couldn't even see how this game was related to Krueger. The unrealistic puzzles, the Windows XP laptop... what does that have to do with Freddy and his movies?
I thought the original game was disturbing, and reminded me a lot of the movies.

The only thing good about this game (besides the stuff that were already in the original one) is the fact that the bathroom floods when you flush the toilet.
In Escape from Elm Street,a very unrealistic blood fountain came out of the toilet.
