A great start.
I liked the style of this animation a lot. The movements on the grey guy, though small, looked very natural. Keep working on some more complicated and/or longer movies.

I think you might juz squeezed thro' frm being blammed.
Some pointers worth improving on:
1) There should only be 1 'Play' button. Either u use the one of Newsground or ur own creation.
2) Although, I don't know alot about skateboarding. But I know that skateboarders also uses their hands to do different act of stunts/flips.
Prehaps u can do more research more and create them into ur flash. And at the same time, after a certain stunt is made, flash the name of that stunt too, so that we know what that move is called.
3) The slopes can comprise of different radian, arc and angles. Consider using staircases, rubbish bins etc. How about having 2 skateboarders competing instead of just one?
4) The oldies music used at the end of ur flash do not suit the theme of ur flash. Try something more hip-hop.
5) Ya on the rite track, so keep improving! :>

The sound in this flash was pretty good, and the graphics and style weren't bad, either.

Well, it was a little on the short side, and maybe you should offer more views than just from the side...? Also, maybe some wipeouts would be nice? A scene selection/wipeout selector at the end, I dunno...?

I like sticks. I gave this a passing 2.
I am actually making a short stick movie currently and I didn't want to be the only one with stick movies (the XiaoXiao author doesn't make movies anymore) because a lot of people do not consider stick movies artwork.
