Are you a Dream Theater fan, by chance? This sounds like Forsaken off their album Systematic Chaos. I like it, and I definitely don't think you stole it (way too original of a remix for that kind of thing), but was just curious.

But to be honest, the beat was kinda weak. You should use Fruity Bass Boost for the kick and maybe variate the sound of the synth.
But it's your choise. The song is still awesome, just wanted to help you a bit :D

Good melody, I like it. It seems rushed though, especially through that little piano part around 00:50.
I'd slow it down a few beats, boost up the bass, and really focus on those accents in the background: like the thunder, for example, put a lot more bass into that, and really make it stand out, it's a great addition to the beat.
Also, I'd like to hear BOTH the synths (main melody) play at the same sound level (especially at 00:30!).
