I think this is amazing, it all fits together so well and it is just such a great piece of music. All it needs now is someone to scream/ growl to this and it would be perfect in my opinion :D Great effort dude! \m/

This song made me want to strap on my plate mail, grab my battle axe, and fly my dragon to the nearest, biggest, meanest beast i could find. I would then proceed to dismember and disimbowel the creature for I am the ripper, the tearer, the thrasher, and all those other cool things Beowolf said.
In all seriousness this has got to be one of the best songs out on Newgrounds right now. You have no idea how relieving it is to hear something that isn't techno, drum-n-bass, or video game music (not that i don't appreciate those forms of music). There were a few breakdowns that made my hair stand up on end.

Deliciously Heavy
Definitely one of the better songs I've heard on Newgrounds. Good songwriting and good execution.
I loved the early parts of the song the most. The beginning caught my attention right away as it was slow and doom metal-like, setting up a good atmosphere.
I have to say as the song went on it became more and more groovy, and I'm not a big fan of groove metal by any means (I've never liked Pantera) but you made it work pretty well and it didn't seem too overdone to me.
There was a good amount of technicality in the song, w/o being overdone as well. One of the things that really caught my attention w/ this song, however, is that it had some interesting genre-melding. For the most part the song sounded like melodic death metal, w/ some groove and thrash thrown in. However, throughout the song I kept hearing riffs here and there on the rhythm guitar (and sometimes another epic-sounding riff on the lead guitar that was repeated a few times in the song) that were very reminiscent of Viking metal. Quite epic and bombastic sounding. I loved that. You can especially hear it right at the end there.
The transitions and some of the interludes were excellently done.
Fantastic job all around.
