I liked it!
It was fun to play, i liked the parts when you have to take their fort!
Maybe when your on the deck, you could make him move around the ship for the second one, and when your taking the for, make like barricades for cover or something, and for the sea, make like reefs where the boats cant travel or they get their health cut or something. Overall it was a very good game, keep it up!

For something with not-so-great graphics, I sure managed to like this game. It was fun and easy to play, and it helped me pass the time by. Good job! 4/5
In the future, though, you may want to improve graphics.
Nice game
I liked how the French surrendered instead of died, that was pretty funny. But sometimes when they broad your ship, there is some lag for no reason. Try to fix that in the next one.
Enjoyable game, some snags, but still fun
I thought this was a really fun game but could use some work on specific things.
First of all, everything did get a bit repetitive, from the music to, more importantly, the gameplay. I know it might boost the file size, but having different music for different parts of the game and for the different enemies would make it more interesting. Also, as far as the gameplay, if you had something just a bit different, like maybe a swordfight sometimes to spice it up, it would definitely improve the tediousness of some of the activities. Or you could maybe add upgrades that you could buy (e.g. faster cannon rate, different weapons, etc.).
Also, I noticed that in the final stage of getting a port (the gunfight), if you were going directly forward and fired the gun, you would often hit the bullet. I died a couple of times before realizing that. It would be cool to have the bullet go faster than the character can go.
However, like the previous reviewer said, this was a really good start and kept my attention for quite awhile, but it has the potential to be a really awesome game.
