Reviews for "Zelda: UO Epis:2"

great flash!

this may not have the greatest of graphics but i see potential for this serious. i am guessing this is before links adventure it ocarina of time? it would be cool for you to even go forward and maybe add to the ocarinas story! anyway i look forward to seeing more of what ever you do!

Nice

I liked the normal zelda music but what was with the end, the weird korean music was sort of crappy and didnt fit. And the voices were a bit staticy I think. Anyways make more.

Hmm...

I was very impressed with this. This is like an alternate way of introducing Ocarina of Time.

However, since I'm reviewing this, I better start acting like a critic.

First off, the animation is very good. Anime style is always a good choice if done well, and you nailed it.

The sounds, however, was a mixed bag. Some voices were very good. Others weren't as good. The flaw in this lies in having so few people to voice act so many characters. You should probably get a few more voice actors so there's a clear difference in voices. Also, some voices weren't so good period, such as Mido's long-haired lacky. It seemed second rate. Still, the main characters like Link, Saria, and Mido are all pretty good.

As for the style, I like how you did the fight scenes. Much better than I expected, and the smash bros. reference right at the end was a nice touch.

Violence...just your basic fighting. It was clean. I like that.

Interactivity doesn't matter in something like this so I'm not even gonna score it.

Humor, when you included it, was quite good. It wasn't over-exagerrated (though the fairy slamming into the screen in part 1 was ALMOST crossing the line, though still a nice touch) and kept me entertained.

Overall, I think the biggest flaw in this is that they are too short. In my opinion, part 1 and 2 could have been put together to form Chapter 1. When you're working on your next ones, try to make the flashes at least 4-5 minutes long each.

So just to recap...get a few more voice actors, extend the length of the flashes, keep up the non-exagerrated humor, and you've got gold.

Oh. And one last piece of advice. If you plan to add Ganondorf anytime soon and don't have a voice actor yet, please, PLEASE get a talented voice actor for him. One of the main problems with Zelda flashes with Ganondorf voice actors is that they always sound like teenage boys straining to deepen their voice. Find someone who is talented in evil voices without the overly exagerrated "deepness." A good example would be Phantom Ganon in "The REAL Legend of Zelda Part 2." I thought he did a good job.

Anyway, keep it up and don't give up. I can tell you right now, this flash is gonna be a fan favorite, and you'll be lynched on site if you don't finish it. >.>

This is probably the best review I've ever gotten. I will definitely work hard to make this series incredible. Thanks you for the criticism.
