Reviews for "Jack French #2"

Great job

Awesome game.
I like the graphics.
Could do with more music and sound effects.
Requires a good deal of thinking, but it's not too hard.
Overall, you did a wonderful job again. I look forward to the 3rd one.

***HINT***
At the end when you've read the note the guy said he got from Elizabeth, light switch 1 needs to be all the way down [click it twice], and light switch 2 needs to be half way [click it once]. Then look at the strawberry cheesecake painting or whatever it is.
Mmmm.... strawberry cheesecake..... *DROOLS*.

Thanks for the good ratings.
I agree that the game suffers from lack of music and sound effects. I kept it at a minimum because of the limit in file size.
Cheers,

I loved this game, as much as I love......

......Jack French#1 :)

The graphic are good.....but the drawings on womens need some more work. I don't know.....you're good at drawing males but not at females IMO.

The voice actors (VA) were not bad, but I kinda hate to see the VA's speech didn't match the text. If you can't fix the speech, why not fix the text instead? Just make the text match the speech, it's simple really.

I really felt and love the feeling of mystery in each game of Jack French. It's pictured greatly on the graphic, the crime scenes and every situation we encounter. Yet sadly and technically speaking, this game doesn't really give me a challange.

What I mean by challange is how I comprehend with information I got and how I deal with them. Believe me, I was able to finish this game without even taking any notice to whatever words that came from a person when I interrogate them (of course I read them, but I feel confident enough to FINISH THIS GAME not SOLVING THE MYSTERY without even taking heed to any conversations). What I gotta do is talk to someone, find items in obvious places (which I could find without gathering information from anywhere) and talk to another person with/without the items. It feels like.....the answer is revealing itself.....not I'm searching for it.

Maybe you could correct this by:

1. Adding some false action/interrogation method when we talk with someone, we ought to discover the real method by comprehending any information we manage to gather by ourselves. When we choose the different path that it should have been, it might lead us to game over or different endings.

2. Somehow make locations or items available only when we manage to decipher information by ourselves, not let the game reveal it for us. Probably by converse with others in specific manner or other technical way.

4. Make the destination less clear to us, on the current Jack French where we ought to go is quite obvious really. Maybe adding places with no/no significant relevance and only propose of existence is to confuse gamers might help.

3. Of course adding more code breaking puzzles in which we ought to find the password by interrogate/searching items for clues. I kinda miss this thing since Jack French#1 (briefcase, I hope this ring some bells) as we didn't need any passwords to breach the computer.

Final words, I really love your game and you can expect me to play Jack French#3 as soon as possible. :) I really hope to see your reply on this long review of mine. XD

AWESOME!!!

That one was so good!! I can't wait for episode 3 to come out!

Cliffhanger?

I quite enjoyed the game, and honestly only have one complaint.

When talking to Elizabeth, you can only show her the items while you are talking to her, but I didn't realize that until it was too late, and had to start over. I think it would be best that in the third one, if such happens once more, that they could be asked after they are done chatting.

(Wow, That sounded threatening. Sorry..)

Anyways, good work! I liked the first one, and this one was even better. Can't wait for Ep. 3. That cliffhanger definitly got me.

Great - but there are bug(s)

The whole game (and the original) are excellent,
the story is, the idea is, basically this series is great. Im looking foreward to episode three. I really am clueless, i have no idea what will happen next and that is great. Keep up the fantastic work.
Bugs: when you move you're mouse over to a response, the audio clip kicks in too early, so for example when you move the mouse over to i dont know...

-HELLO , it says hello before you click it. Just put that if you needed to know, or probably you already do ... but anyways. Keep up the great work . Two Thumbs Up.
