Yeah, it sounds like the bowser castle song from the 1st Super Mario. I did make that comparison as I was making it. I also though Zelda when I did it lol.

This song would've made the ending battle in Final Fantasy 8 So much more meaningful, in fact it works better for any boss song than any I've heard. Bowserish elements are here but not in a bad way Ah! Beating GlaDoS to this too!

portions of this make me think of some of the more recent megaman games i like it since it has a battle feel with a sort of creepy twist
