Reviews for "Giant Enemy Crab Battle"

Fantastico!

The King of Crabs approves of your wonderful movie! How long were you at it for the Steve? OH and voted 5 just for the crab ;)

Steven-M responds:

1 week to make the movie itself. One day to fix a large glitch which wiped out an FLA file. One more day on top to make the credits and polish it all of. Thanks for voting!

awesome

although it seemed to be based more off of sony's E3 presentation rather than any sort of actual battle...it was strange, but one of the best things i've seen in a long time.

Steven-M responds:

You're right about the presentation. The name itself riffs on both "Giant Enemy Crab", and BOE's "Crab Battle" flash which is featured on Newgrounds as well. Thanks for watching the movie!

OMG! REAL TIME WEAPON CHANGE!

how is this not 1st place? probably fanboys that think Sony did a good press confence.......

animation-awesome and unique FbF
sound-Sonic music! Spumco music! YES!
humour-who doesn't laugh at every MASSIVE DAMAGE! joke?

it's in my favourites :) good job.

ps, where did you get the Sonic 3 boss music in the credits?

Steven-M responds:

Spumco music? Surely you jest? That's ulterior jazz genius Raymond Scott you're referring to, young man.

Well, his stuff IS used by Spumco, admittedly, but Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, and even the Simpsons have used his work.

Thanks for commenting!

PS: http://gh.ffshrine.org/, and look around.

YEAS!

I take it this was based on a battle that really happened in Japan =D

Steven-M responds:

Too damn right it was. Thanks for commenting!

read the refrences only to cut the flash half way.

i know i should of watched the whole thing but i could not bear it. i read the refrences and wondered how u called them jokes but could be funny to a small audience facial expressions where mad and the whole bit of a disease being so big and that the whole storyline evolved around a STI.
so 6s and because i didnt watch whole thing i didnt rate on the 1-5 thing.

Steven-M responds:

...actually, it isn't a STD. It really is a crab. A giant... enemy... crab. You see, it's played out so it makes you THINK it's an STD, and then it isn't...

You know what? You're 14. You should know how this sort of thing works by now.

Ah, well. Thanks for watching a bit of it at least!
