Reviews for "Engineered"

made me blood run cold

sad, really sad, but at least that last baby got taken
very well done

Sooo sad.

Well, the story seemed to go like this to me. The mother had a child brutally murdered[the flashbacks], so she decides to become pregnant again, but when she takes the pregnancy test, she is not. So, completely depressed, the mother is taken by her "husband" to a genetical engineering laboratory, where they meet the robot. The robot takes egg cells from the mother, asks for a semen sample from the husband, and then genetically fertilizes the mother's eggs and inserts the male reproduction cells. The first cell divides and becomes a baby. The parents come back to find their precious child, but unfortunately, the baby is missing a leg, which is enough to make th efather hate the poor thind. Sadly, the robot takes the baby and puts it to sleep. So, another sample from each parent is taken, also resulting in a baby. [I am not sure what was wrong with this one. Was it the skin color? Albino, maybe?] The father also hates this one so the robot is forced to take the baby and put it to sleep like the one before it. Samples from both the mother and father are taken once more, and fertilized and turned into an infant, but only this time, the baby is severely deformed, which aggrivates the father to giving up on a new child. But as always, the mother accepts the child with the most care and love as any mother, and she pays the robot to take the child home.

I loved it.

I was wondering. In the beginning, it says inspired by the work of peter ghung. I was wondering what work it was. The only work of his I am aware of is 'The Rugrats', 'Aeon Flux' (TV show, not movie), and a short film in the animatrix.

I know he has probably directed more than that, but I was wondering what exactly is this inspired by? Is it a particular work, or just inspired by his overall Chungliness?

The movie was great, BTW. (I really know how tyo get off-topic, dont I?)

Great job!

I'm glad I saved this submission when it was under review, and I am even more pleased that it made the front page - great, slick, animation, and a very important message. It goes to show that you don't need to understand language to feel the same emotions. Good stuff.

Keep up the amazing work!!

Brilliant

The father is a total jackass. He kills two totally good babys that only had minor defects.I thought the white one looked awesome.Anyways, sweet storyline.
