Reviews for "Grandbunny Paradox"

Brain Pain!

Yoyo tht was kwl real funny as well. i dont care how the animation was done coz i cant do any better. all tht tak of time was sore in my brain:(. it was gud!

Very funny though philosophically completley wrong

This is an absolutly fantastic piece. I really enjoyed your style, yes it is 'simple' but this does not make it easy to do well! The story has been unfairly attacked in previous reviews so I will stand up for it and say that it works because of the inventive situation. I can not for the life of me see how it fails to be cohesive. The main strength though is the humor, it is actually funny which is quite a rarity on newgrounds. The "making of" has rightly been pointed out as perhaps the best bit of all. My only minor quibble is that you get the solution to the grandfather paradox so hoplessly wrong! Now this may have been deliberate and this is not the place to go into long winded explanations of the metaphysics of time but if you are interested in the correct solution feel free to contact me directly (the truth is stranger then fiction!!). Fantastic job and I look forward to seeing your future work!

ChrisNosal responds:

Yeah, I told Bob that I didn't think the paradox would really play out like that. But he's the kind of filmmaker who cares more about entertainment than about accuracy.

Loved it.

I thought that was hilarious. Im an avid fan of Bad Guys, and was pretty disappointed to hear you werent planning on finishing BGiS.
But I loved this movie, it was hilarious. It was a bit slow however, but I suppose it has to be when its compiled with photographs.

Admittedly I preferred the behind the scenes section, I felt that was funnier than the main film itself. Keep the movies coming!

ChrisNosal responds:

Yeah, those guys are definitely funny off camera. I had a blast hanging out with them. We shot the Behind the Scenes segment at my house actually. It was during the wrap party after filming ended.

Hmm

Ammm, this one was interesting. Though you did not get the humor across very well. I don't see any firm storyline in the video. No plot either, unless it's "dont mess with time"
I don't think i understand what was in the tomato's hand when he killed the gnome. :-/

ChrisNosal responds:

Sticks was holding a couple of grenades in his hand at the end. Bob's writing is a bit odd, but from what I gather, after the rifle salesman died, the timeline changed so that Sticks didn't have the gun anymore. But since he still had to kill the salesman for it to make any sense, he was killed by a grenade instead.

fukkin hilairious

this is funny as hell you gotta do some more of these sticks and bunny are the shit keep em comin
