Reviews for "Maze Craze 2"

fun

i like maze games and this is no aception.well done with this.it is alot of fun

pretty good

its ok but still needs some work: if you move the mouse fast enough u can go through the walls, other than that not bad. work on it a bit more

Good

I think that it was a good cosept, but was mislead, the mouse idea was kinda hard to use, I think you should have let the players use the arrow keys a bit, and the music was kinda odd, but the idea for makeing a maze flash was a good one, keep at it!

at the beginning.....

okay, at the beginning, there was a glitch in your game. Before the preloader, where the "click and drag" option is, if you click anywhere on the screen, the ball will come towards you. Besides that, you need to make it more easier, because you will get a lot of complaints about the game being way too hard. So, get this blammed or not, the choice is yours. Upgrade it a few times, then submit it again.

Scrub responds:

I'm not sure the glitch you mentioned was that critical, I just wrote "click and drag" because it was more fun that way. Still nice review.

It was okay, but here's what went wrong

The Load Level option didn't work. Which was particularly nasty since some of the levels were extremely hard. Octopus in particular you had to move the mouse perfectly horizontal through a tunnel about three pixels thick, half-submerged in a wall because the cursor was actually larger than the tunnel!

The other main gripe I had was that some o the background graphics you picked interfered with gameplay by making stuf hard to see. In fuel the background matched the cursor which made it a bit hard to see the cursor. In stairs the background alternated black and white, making it extremely hard to guess whether or not that white strip was a wall or part of the background. You tried to make the walls black in places where the background was white (which means you recognized the problem :D) but the transition wasn't very smooth and it didn't entirely work. Next time that happens, it's best to go ahead and use a totally different background that doesn't cause this problem no matter how much you like your current one.

Liked the actual maze aspect of it though, and I'm interested to see what happens when you fix the Load Level and background problems. Good luck!

I like how thourough your explanation was,but I'm not sure you were usisng the load level feature correctly. You type in the level name(including "The")
and then click the level number. Sorry if that was unclear. Be on the look out for Maze Craze 3 eventualy, there I will make sure to avoid the type of pictures you are talking about, you are right I shouldn't have tried to use them.
