god exists. he exists because people believe in him, its that simple. even if there were no god(i am taking NO stance on this!) it wouldn't matter because we have, as a species, as a series of races, always needed the comfort belief gives us. it makes the world we have created look better, because it sure doesnt look good otherwise.

i am not a christian, i like the values it teaches, i also like the values budhism teaches. i am not an atheist, but i dont follow any religion as such (atheism is to not believe in god - i believe in something, i dont know what).
jesus did no miracles, sorry, but its probably true, water into wine? it was him being able to provide. so was feeding the forty thousand with a loaf of bread, it is a metaphor for him being able to provide (something that was VERY important back in the day). walking on water? he could sail! as far as i am aware no-one sees these things as metaphors. maybe they should! it doesnt matter either way, the fact is it gives people strength, he must have been a great man because 2006 years after his birth, he's still famous!!

as a non-christian i like it, as someone who is interested in the sciences i like it. it doesnt matter what religion your see yourself as part of, its a good flash!
oh, and i would like to point ouot that religion and science are VERY closely linked and it is only on a few issues that they differ, but to be honest, it doesnt matter! and actually many scientists are religious, and it is their religion that pushes them to further their understanding to help mankind. so before you make an argument, SORT IT OUT MATE!
P.S. WW2 is nothing, 160million werent killed. there were 10 million jews killed in the holocaust, 40 million people killed by stalin. granted ww2 has had a most adverse effect on the world, but look at the plage in britain, nearly cleared out a WHOLE NATION this had happened in so many places. also it isnt just the death toll, its how fucked up it makes you, look at apartheid, i'd rather be a statistic than have been a black person living in south africa at the time! (and before you start, i am not being racist by using the term black, i am white, i find that term acceptable, if someone calls me non-ethnic, THAT pisses me off. i have an ethnicity, it is where i come from. one person decides i'm racist, which happens all too often on here, and i will completely rinse you. mate.)
