Poor flash
Try to fix the joints of those characters and please don't make the boy so ulgy, he always laugh when the subtitles said that he was sad. Most of all, when he did cried, it seem as though he became so old, with wrinkles.
As I'm from Hong Kong, I study both chinese history and mandarin, hence I knew the war well, it lasted 8 yrs but the kid didn't grow even an inch, plus the song you choose was a love song...........

oh man... i'm sorry, but this movie is so over dramatized! that whole thing with the music and the constant repetitive crying scenes, it's not even a movie! it's just you trying to make a blubber fest, i dont see how anyone who could buy into this. but you say the story is true, and for that im sorry about what happened back then. but this movie, you just tried WAY too hard to make it super dramatic. it's pretty pathetic

War is always widely agreed to be a tradgedy and people will always feel for those who suffered at the hands of invasion, however it is often looked at from a large scale with emphasis on the events of the conflicts themselves. This flash, although not by any means a pioneer in this respect; adds a human dimension to conflict, by focusing on the events of the war as seen by a single child, the who's and why's of the war become irrelevant and its world shattering effect amplified, that's what I like about this.
That said, the song got old very fast, the drawings are crude and it was hardly subtle. But yeah, still good.
