Reviews for "Sand Labyrinth"

Good game.

Fun maze game, I played all the way through. The sand background is ok but I did not feel how the maze and ball itself relates to a desert. I like the whirly sand effect aswell as the stats on the end was a nice touch. Voted 4 - 4/5 on my score.

DannyP responds:

I just needed some kind of theme so it would be a little bit more than a 'maze game', so I went with sand :P Thanks for reviewing

Well planned, well executed.

I liked it. I have never seen that kind of resistance applied to a maze before, so kudos on that idea. Quite an original (from my experience anyway) combination of elements. One suggestion, however: a "restart this level" button. I lost my ball in the darkness level and had to restart from the beginning. But that's just nit-picking. Well planned and well executed.

DannyP responds:

I'll be sure to include a "restart level" button if I ever make another maze-type game :P Thanks for the comments :D

You should say something about the start screen

took me 10 minutes to figure out that i needed to move. other than that, it was pretty fun, but extremely hard.

DannyP responds:

lol! Sorry, I probably should've had some text on the screen saying you're free to move and that you're the ball.

Good!

Collision detection was a little off. Could barely move through some openings. It also seemed a little slow WITHOUT the sand moving. Other than that.. great!

DannyP responds:

Well, I don't really have the best method for making boundaries and stuff... so my walls were a bit glitchy :P Sometimes you could slip through some walls, or it would be difficult to get through some passageways unless you're only using one arrow key (rather than going diagonal, with two arrow keys). Glad you enjoyed the game :P

It needs work but has potential.

There was no really pressure to the game it was a nice idea and not bad in anyway but it needs work. You could go through some of tthe walls. I didnt really like it but i understand why others would.

DannyP responds:

As I said, this game was meant to be an easier one. I found quite a few walls that could be moved through, but it's quite a lot of hassle to find/fix each one, so I just left them as is, since it isn't that brutal.
