Nice effort but not good enough.

Good effort and I can see the type of game your trying to create, a few simple pointers that made it not fun for me. The whole gameplay style of aim the crosshair and shoot has been done many times before, also the sound was really annoying and repetative. The animations of the weapons were not that great either, and it wasn't really a challenge just a click and wait till he dies.
Keep practising.

I think my hand is about to fall off. This game was no where near fun... I don't call rapidlly click the mouse game fun, Don't get me started on the butter knive part. It took me like 3 minutes taking him down... Anyways, This game was a solid waste of time no offense.
Its crap.
u dont even need to move the mouse all u need to do is click and u will beat it...its a easy put together flash that a 9 year old can make.
Yet you're 17 and can't. Flash is harder than it looks, you don't just type in "make_game.exe". You have thousands of codes, for the health bar ALONE.
and the point is...
seriously is there a point to that? (other than killing the left click button)
you dont need to aim just keep clicking and eventualy he will die we dont even have to move the mousse
Killing the mouse is the point, I guess.
It was made for fun, and for friends, not really Newgrounds as much. (Non-Flash makers are amazed by simple things)
Side-note: To beat the game, you have to click Brodie at least 1500 times.

well, you can say he's 17, but i'm 13, and i've made Space Skirmish...
you should at least make "Brodie" move around and try to hide rather than slide back and forth waiting to die...
And also make some kind of splash on Brodie's face. So it actually looks like you're hitting him.
I know, I know, I was planning to. I was also planning to make the ninja stars stick into him and the blood from the knife stay there. But the "Brodie" movieclip wouldn't perform any more functions than it already was. (Like 5) and the "bullet hole" tutorials, none of them worked. Like I said, this is an intro to the characters. Brodie Beater 2 might come out soon, and it's Street Fighter style, just there's some glitches.
