Why was the explosion so huge ? Well, lemme explain that, the obelisk charged up and the Ion cannon beam blasted the area which caused a huge overload ... or something ... awww fuck this, huge explosions need no explanation. And the gayass C&C 3 never had anything to do with this movie.
