Is it supposed to move so slow? I couldn't continue past 4 words because they took so long to move.

it would have been better if it went faster maybe. otehr than that, this seems like a game for first graders.
Word Works is a word game flash. Graphics are okay, but they could always be flashier. Gameplay is hurt by the slowdown. Removing the lag would be very helpful. Adding music would also be a good improvement.

This game is painful to play. The way that the menu scrolls out is grueling. It moves so slowly that I wanted to shoot myself. Then the letters scroll out and I have no fucking idea what the hell to spell. Perhaps different difficulty levels? Or atleast a faster paced game. This game just moves at a grueling pace.

+++ Nice gfx. Periphery (cogs, bg, etc) has a nice consisten scheme and the 3D shading on everything is pretty smart.
- Though I think the scheme is slightly boring. I'd maybe like something either unique and interesting like paper cut-outs, brushed work, whatever, or maybe just something more cartoony.
+++ After getting the hang of it, I enjoyed working out the words on the mode I was playing.
------ The menu scrolls way too slow. Seriously. Having menus scroll so slow is practically a heinous crime.
------ The letters should scroll onto the screen a bit faster, to ensure less of a gap between each puzzle.
- Though I enjoyed listening to Ani Difranco, it'd be nice to have some sfx in the game to give actions more resonance.
