Nice Idea.
I really love the idea of music based games. I also like how yours doesn't just follow the whole "press buttons to the rythm". Anyways more than one life is somehting this game desperatly needs. Prehaps even break it up into stages. You die in a stage you have to start from the beggining of the stage, not the very beggining. It's very oldschool in that sense.

its awesome, but for some reason the sound does cut off. it wasnt doing that yesterday though. i think its a prob u should look into
