Here's an idea
This is a relatively original take on an arcade game. There is however one major flaw that makes playing it frustrating rather than enjoyable, and that is that because the control is absolute, there is little one can do to manipulate the puck with any precision. However, once the AI has a hold of it, they can shoehorn it any way they please, which is very annoying. For this, I suggest if you tried either changing the physics (but the behavior seems fairly...not very...but fairly intuitive and thus realistic), or else the controls, such that it used 2 sets of directional control, maybe keyboard + mouse (one for the direction of the paddle, one for the paddle movement, as opposed to the kind of tweening motion we see here which isn't very controllable), then it'd be a ton of competitive fun.
The other thing I see is the scoring- either the script is buggy or I found it to be slightly inconsistent. You may wish to explain it somewhere or tighten the code.
Otherwise I'd say this was something fresh and if those problems were fixed, I'd dig it good.
