Metal Slug...oh the memories...
This is a really good peice, and I love how you reverted the first level into an orchestral version. The problem is that it's mainly the same instrument in some parts...I don't know, it just seems to be missing something. Other then that, this is a great peice! Keep it up!

what you pointed out is excactly what i meant to do. I head no intention of changing the sound of the song. I mainly did this to test my new sample library and just took the instruments which i thought sounded closest to the ones in the original.

Well, you did get most of it right.
Though there are some slight faults, like the violin tends to be a bit high at certain notes than it should. But on the chorus part, it just sounds so divine, and reminds me of James Bond at some parts. Overall, you've done well even by ear recreation.
Yes, the nostalgic goosebumps appeared again. You did a good job fitting it.
