This is an amazing piece! For starters, its based on Romantically Apocalyptic (which I haven't seen in such a long time) so immediately it got my attention there. Secondly, the vibrant oranges, yellows, and bits of red just "ooze out" (I felt this term to be appropriate) the feeling of a fiery Armageddon; these are followed by the barren blackness of the buildings, and the lively, watery-blue of Mr. Snippy's eyes. Thirdly, the textures for the different parts of the landscape seem about right, though I can see the hastiness in some of the strokes. However, given the frantic mood of an apocalypse, it matches pretty well. Once again, this is amazing!
