My mouse does that too.
Although not as pronounced, my mouse always manages to stay one pixel away from the one thing that I need to click. And only when I need to click something important too.

I hate it when laser mouses do that. Always use one with a ball.

that has happen so many times that it drives me nuts but i found my problem it was my laser mouse with my holographic mouse pad reflexing back into the mouse but i fixed it (without a hammer) plus its kind of hard to draw a pictue of the mona lisa with a blue paint bush but still an excellent short flash

Lol, my old mouse used to jump around like that from time to time, so i threw it at a wall...

My cursor seems to do that when im playing games or in photohop itll jump to a different spot or just completely disappear... o.O
