the Mayans had never truly stated that Dec 21st 2012 would be the end of the world, generally, many people misinterpret things and assume that since the Mayan calendar does not have a date after Dec 21st is because it probably means that us as humans, on that date will have a new understanding as to questions like, why are we truly here? what is our purpose? it is believed that a new age of discovery would occur then and humanity would leave its barbaric beliefs in war and money for solutions. If any one catches my drift, please say I. because I think everyone is overreacting over the whole apocalypse concept
