Enchanting

Be assured you combined your skills full well - at least, that's to my opinion.
Wouldn't like to think you that I mess into the author's style, but as far as I'm concerned, despite the style you chose, maybe the animation could win from being a bit more realistic. However symbolic may the objects be, probably it would look nicer if we could see the interaction between them and the hero, if it wasn't just two objects put close to each other but rather one holding another. The same is for the hero: as for me, his style of movement sometimes (though very rarely) looks exaggerated to the extent where it looks not stylish but rather poorly animated, for what happens to his body in such moments slightly contradicts to what should have been the result of movements.
Well, hope the inspiration doesn't leave you. I'll be waiting to see more from you.

Pretty Original Style

The music that you made sounded pretty good, so a thumbs up for how well you synched music you created with your own flash (usually someone makes the music while someone else animates). Maybe to make the shortie more fluid you could use additional frames of animation to reduce the 'jerkiness' of the movement.

Great style, but too slow

I loved the mood of this flash. The style was wonderful, and the music fit it perfectly. I started to lose interest, though, when I realized how slow it was moving. I watched the whole thing, but at one part I kind of blanked out and stopped paying attention for a few seconds. Just a tip: increase the movement speed, and try to get him to move more than one joint at a time. Besides that, great work!

I think that it was a unique and creative flash

i relly like the creativity behind this flash and i enjoyed it because it was different. i dont know whether the animation was purposly jurky but it helped and i really want to see more like this . nice job :)
