He misses. Sorry, but All Your Base was funny because it was unintentionally terrible translation. This is deliberately bad translation of a deliberately 'funny' (but really, just childish) script.

childish script?! dude, "children" do not use the words "fuck" or "boner" so unless you're some married man in your thirties, or single fat man wearing a star trek costume, try to enjoy the humor, it's supposed to be flatout random, and it is. many people submitted random ideas, and if you look in the credits, you can see i've added their names.
You're tryin' too hard, man.
I absolutely loved the first one. I mean, it was just as absurd as the original translation and I had no idea what weirdness was next.
This one, on the other hand...You're trying to hard to milk it. Going beyond the scope of the introduction to Zero Wing was a mistake here. It just doesn't work.

NOTE: the reason why i "went beyond the scope of the introduction" was to show what might possibly have happened next if the original hadn't ended that way. It's also called "AYB UNCUT" meaning it's fictional version of what the original was supposed to be like? see where i'm goin' wit dis hizzy-hazzy? (hizzy-hazzy? *awkward words*
Here's what I think
Graphics: (-3) Ugggghhh...
Style: (1) Very bad
Sound: (1 3/4) The only good sound was the Music from Monty Python.
Violence: (0) Not violent at all.
Interactivity: (1/2) Not good.
Humor: (1 7/8) The only part I'd call funny was when CATS threw a pineapple at the ship.
Overall: (1/4) I'm cutting you some slack being that this is AYB, but don't mangle your other movies like this.
P.S. Please do not make Part 3. I am prepared to cry and beg.
