If your goal is to get people to change their behaviour, insulting them at every juncture is not going to help your case. If you are grasping for the reason people are hostlie toward you, it is because your "message" is bascially that people must either agree with you or get insulted, resulting in people either attempting to be joiners or just blatantly attack you.
Reviews may or may not be good and some people may give reviews carelessly, but I think you're pretty bold to presume to tell people how they should and should not vote. I don't like moronic flash any more than you do, but I'm not about to tell people how they ought to vote and insult them because I think their taste is more lowbrow than mine is.
I hate to say it, but your whole point seems motivated by the fact that you or a friend of yours got "bad" reviews on a flash you made, or flash movies you like don't do well. In other words, your objectivity is so dubious as to be nonexistent, and you don't even seem to care about that. In sum: While your message may be accurate or not, the way you're trying to put it forward is not going to accomplish results you'd care to see.
In other words: Calm down and count to ten before you shout yourself purple and put in in an internet flash.

Devout, you need to get a few ideas straight and a better sense of criticism before you make an ass of yourself on my turf.
1. What balls do you have to tell me to "calm down and count to ten"? I do whatever the fuck i feel like, regardless of what morons like you say/suggest i should do.
2. Since you think that we have to be nice to the likes of those who prefer spam to top notch content... I take it you're either a newbie on the world wide web, or simply someone who doesn't know when to shut the fuck up.
3. My point's motivated by the fact that i've literally scouted Newgrounds and found reviews badmouthing cartoons like "Blockhead", "Miss Dynamite", "Alien Hominid" and many other quality entries. I don't mind if someone thinks the flash should've been done better, but spare the personal bullshit for your high school tissies or you'll get it thrown right back at ya (which is what this toon aimed at doing).
And by the way, what you call an "angry rant" is something that every person has a right to. I'm not the first, nor the last who does this, so if you don't like it, just say you don't like it. Don't post this mumbo-jumbo that just plainly tells me "you're talking shit without proving a decent point".
4. Last, but not least, i've received negative feedback. I've actually praised it in some cases. Those cases beiung the times where i actually heard people telling me where i needed improvements. That feedback is fine by me. When the review's badmouthing level gets to "throw yourself off a cliff" that's when i get pissef off. That's what i get the whole time.
You may be allright with giving constructive responses. Point is that not everyone is like that. If you're not one of those people, why do you act so defensive? You got something to hide?
Or do i just have to take this as a hint and think that you're just being a retard for the jist of it?
Keep your personal shit out of reviews. Is that too much to ask?
