Moving...

Lovely piece. Really, maybe one of the best Piano compositions I've heard in a while.

It does have a sad ring to it, but it's also uplifting & hopeful. I love the combination!

I love piano work and I'm sure others like it here

This piece seemed sorta sad to me, like someone thinking back to when everything was ok, but now has nothing. On a further note, I think theres way too much techno and trance here, it cant be healthy for anyone, maybe people on NG do too much E lol. I wish it was limited or something how many of each genre could be submitted to the audio portal daily. Everyday theres mario or mortal combat remixes its soooo old. I think your work is something everyone appreciates or can appreciate, the piano is for the soul not the ears.

Thanks xfreedom!
You know what when my friends and I were discussing what exactly this piece wanna express, we didn't reach an agreement (of course I could have my official answer, but who cares?) But I guess that's the magic of music --- it is the interpretation of audience that makes it complete.
I compose piano pieces in the hope that, as you states, everyone could appreciate, but that would not be necessarily true, just like the interpretation of the song could vary from one to other.
Thanks again that you enjoy it.

Not my usual.

I don't go listening to stuff like this all the time but it's definitely a moving piece, it had me hooked. Great success.

YueYang responds:

Thanks Hertzeil =]
Hope you'll enjoy my other works, as I think I still have lots of room to improve!

Wow

This is so nice, its hard to get nice piano sounds on Flst.

it sucks that on this site this song will be under-appreciated. this is so beautiful :O nice use of theory :)
5/5 10/10

YueYang responds:

Thanks Veebix you're so sweet :)
Flst is definitely designed for electronics, or so I think..but with good soundfonts it could make a difference. Anyway piano might be the easiest instrument to copy to digital as we don't need to care about breath etc...
I think NG's still a good place for original works no matter which genre we are talking about. Yep maybe not many people are for pure piano pieces, but still I believe people have their "common sense" :)
