Disappointing
I was looking forward to this movie and it really could have been better. The voice acting was very bad, even compared to speakonia (wasn't that what you used originally for episode 1?) The graphics were great, I'll give you that, but all in all it seemed like a bad movie with good cinematography. Sorry to lay all that on ya like that, I'm just calling it like I see it.
Also, needs more clock.
I'm sorry that you didn't feel my movie lived up to it's potential. I don't personally feel that any of the voice acting was bad except my own, but I suppose it takes differant strokes. At least you liked my graphics I suppose. It's quite alright, I like it that you explained why you didn't like it, it can only help me out but telling me what was wrong.
What's with the "Ni**er Cola" in the trash can?
I noticed that in the first shot of the Trash character, the "igger" was blacked out. If this is back-door racism, this should be blammed. If it's supposed to be a joke, why hide it in the first shot. Put it up front where people can decide whether or not it's funny.
I am definitely missing something here. You bragged about the 20+ hours this took? I've got news for you: 20 hours ain't nothin'. The music didn't flow. Get a sound editing program so you can mix and edit your tracks before dropping them in Flash. Your opening text scrolled too fast, your closing credits scrolled too slow. Take a typography class for God's sake... I'm glad you have a bunch of "lockheads" who are willing to trip all over themselves telling you how awesome this was, because I don't feel the same.
I will say this, you did attempt to vary the framing and composition of some of your shots. That was good. Continue experimenting in that direction. Also, I liked the animation of the explosion.
Well, it's an inside satire, and it has to do with the censorship of the word on the Lock Legion BBS. I am neither for nor against it, but it's just a take on that. There is no actual "igger" on the bottle. It's purely an N with a black line next to it. And I don't think that I should have the actual word on the bottle, that would cause a problem now wouldn't it?
I wasn't bragging, I always state how much effort I put into an animation. For a person who has no flash themselves you sure seem to know a lot about what is and what isn't a lot of effort in a flash animation. Most people don't like "Locks" and the fact that there are a lot of people out here who are enjoying this movie is astounding, maybe not for you because you haven't been here very long and you seem to know very little about newgrounds, but for the Lock Legion, the fact that I have not recieved a single zero review saying "I hate locks you suck" is infuckingcredable.
