great job with the animation... ive read the lord of the flys before in my english class. it was a ok story. i notised you also used the voices from one of the movies...what one was it that you used for the voices? the one in black and white or the newer one in color?
this is a fresh idea sense i dont think anyone really has made a flash animation for a book before.

I used the old black and white movie, mostly because I wanted actual British accents. I've never seen the new one, though..

This works nearly perfectly to captivate an audience, now I'm intrigued to see an actual production of this movie sometime soon as this clearly is a excellently done trailer. Not perfect in a sense of full utilization potential in a professional advertisment level, but nonetheless, this is clearly an excellently done trailer and would positively pitch your movie idea to a newgrounds audience definitely. I would like to see more work from you as you've clearly shown a very impressive presentation here.
It's a must watch for most people, even though it's a trailer, I'm sure you'll be wanting to encourage this author to produce more flash animations after seeing this.
incredibly disappointed
i think that this trailer was infinately better than any lord of the flies movie ever made. i'm sad to know that you don't actually plan on making an animated lord of the flies, because based on what you've done, it looks like you could do a good job.
but i suppose nothing can replace the experience of the actual text.
i enjoyed this, though.
