The things i kick myself for....
Every time some guys take an idea I've had or wish I'd thought of, I just want to kick my self. It is very Family Guy-ish like you said. I could totally see some flash back leading Peter to this same scenario. Personally I would have had Mario as a room mate, but that is all a matter of personal preference.
enough of my stupid mumblings. You guys are amazing at what you do. I never stopped laughing at this stuff.
The visuals are a bit out of the ordinary compared to your new stuff, but nothing wrong with being different.
