Reviews for "What Do We Do With Him?"

Ha ha!

Wow, thank goodness I've suffered through more than a few Dr. Who episodes on PBS. That's pretty funny; I especially liked the the Doctor sitting next to the Dalek on the roller coaster and the adequately low-budget thoughts of some of the monsters. One question though: What is the significance of the music? It is not very timelordesque. All in all, not a bad little flash, and not bad at all given that its poking fun at classic sci-fi hero.

nightshade-pheonix responds:

After watching all of the seventh Doctor's era, I found that the music was at times utterly ridiculous (orchestra hits all over the place!) so I thought I should give my animation suitably odd music :D

Yup

I liked it, despite the fact that I had no idea what the fuck was going on

Not impressed

Well... it ended abruptly and apparently accidently.
You used Dr. Who... a Brittish show from decades ago...
and Japanese music...
I understand the whole cultural fusion thing...
But the ending is non existant and the little stick conversations could have been rendered with better flash.

Needs work. Lots of work.

Wasted Space

What the...... I don't seem to get these Japanese Gangster flicks. Thats even with the translations

I'm a Doctor Who fan though!

So I thought this was really good. I liked the various baddies you've included - and Sylvester McCoy looked a teensy bit freaked out by the end.

Graphically you've put a lot in this Flash so what lacks in fine detail is made up for by the sheer amount of overall detail. It's not easy drawing credible Who characters/villians that pass muster with the fans and you've done that.

The music perhaps could have been a little more appropriate but it was decent.

I think the plotline could be made a little clearer, perhaps I am looking for too much in it that isn't there? To me it seems to be a comment on McCoy, certainly the McCoy scripts were bad bad bad in the main (let's forget the McGann telemovie - barf), anyway, regardless, the basic concept is clear.

Good job - I really liked it! 5 to protect.

nightshade-pheonix responds:

I would barf at the TVM too, but hey, it had Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann in nothing but a sheet. I'm not complaining :D

Thanks for your comments - I'll work on a more obvious story line next time.
