This may be your first flash, but still...
Ehhh, get better at flash, or take more time on movies before submitting them to the portal. I learned that taking more time is better when I made my flash. Some of the jokes were okay, some were funny. Oh, and there's a little something called "Tweening', it makes things move more smoothly. Might I suggest the NG tutorials? It may be your first flash, but it could've been better.
I spent plenty of time on this, enough that I feel if I spent much more it would go on forever and nobody would watch the whole thing (unless they were really bored). Also, I made most of this a long time ago, when I didn't tween, but now I do.

Snice this is your frist flash, I'll be a little easy on you.
I can't say it's bad, but I can't say it's good eaither. So that leaves it to put it under the gray zone of "Meh". The story did drag on too long, so maybe you should learn where to stop things before it gets a little stale. Second, make the Pause/Start/Whatever a little smaller for me it got a little distracting snice it took up half of the screen. Don't ask, i'm easly distracted by things.
However, I did like the music and a couple of the jokes ( like Kirby) did get a little chuckle out. So, your off to a good start!

1. Yes it does drag on a little. It was originally going to be a sequel, put since it would be so short, I decided to not make it be one.
Very good.
Ok first off. Good pre-loader screen. Nice buttons through-out themovie to control and do what you wanted with it. And nice music that went with the movie. truly gave the whole mario feel to it. Sprites were good and very well animated. Story was cool, South park song rocked, That one was from one of the new ones over here, the chinese song.
9/10 keep it up, you've got talent and use it well.

sorry man you had a good thing to work with but it just wasn't that great. there were some funny parts, but just not enough.
