Not quite sure, about that. I'm gonna have to do some new sprite ripping before I actually start working on the next episode. So until I have that done, it's uncertain.

WOW

At a first glance, it looked horrible, but as soon as the first fight began, I felt goooooooood. I really like the animation, everything was superb except the preloader and the conversations: I really had to press the 'next' button all the time. Couldn't give you a penalty for that because this movie is so detailled and nicely animated. Great job. Wow.

Are you saying you would have preferred it as automatic text? If the movie was like that I would have went over the maximum frame limit allowed in flash movies. Plus, a lot of the fans wanted it as button based again.

Anyways, glad you liked the movie.

Amazing!

Wow, I have to say that was one of the better flashes I've ever seen. I actually felt MOVED while watching them fight. The story is so good, and I mean.. just wow. Anyways I can't wait to see the next one!

OMG

A-W-S-O-M-E-!-!-!-!
lol, that was insane XD i liked how multiple people were fighting at once, and yay, Tales of Symphonia music. this is definately one of the best sprite series made. i hope you dont get mad at me asking, but how is the next episode coming along? is it easier than the one you just made?

Thanks for the comments.

Since I'm currently at an action sequence, it's taking me a long time to come up with what actually happens in it. So it isn't any easier coming up with action sequences. Animating them still takes as long as the last episode so even if I can animate the sequences with relative proficiency, it isn't any easier.

The dialogue scenes were done fairly quickly. About 7-8 scenes totaling about 9 minutes took me about a week or so to do since I didn't really have to do any complex animations.

As of right now, I'm still wondering what the sequence of events will be for the action scenes and how long each main sequence will be since the action will play out in about 4 different locations all right after the other.

Basically it will flow like this:

A->B->A->C->D

Each letter is the location, so Chris and his companions go from point A to point B, then back to A which leads to C then finally D (which if it all goes as planned, leads to the exit of the underground city). This entire time when going through these locations they're fighting an opposition that won't let up.

So yeah, I have a lot of work ahead me *sighs*.

Still Awesome

I already said i love this series but i must know if the next ep is going to take a year like this one did?

I don't think it'll take a year. Though thinking of how the action sequences will play out is taking just as long as last time. This time, however, the event isn't as important as it was in episode 6.4. If anything, this action sequence is giving you an idea of what force Chris and his companions will have to deal with in the next story arc. So, after this episode I'm working on currently is finished, you won't see this force again until this story arc is over.

It weird, though. I have the episode after the one I'm currently working on more fleshed out in my mind than this one. I want to work more on that episode, honostly, since the action sequence I'm currently working on could be considered filler.

Anyways, thanks for comments!
