The game was great.. Even though some levels seemed long and tedius...

UNFORTUNATLY! There was one level which I despised.. Forest of Frozen Ferns.. After playing it for a while I realized there wasn't going to be anything pop up for me to recharge Hitpoints... So then I was like "Well.. Lets see if I can gather as much gold as possible before dieing so I can get the life sucking upgrade..".. After dieing it brought all my gold down to 146.. And I realized there's no way for me to win now, all because I never leveled up the HP stealing ability...

I hate games that let you play all the way through until the end where you realize you made a mistake when you started playing and now you can't win without starting the game all over again.

good game

i liked the game, and i really liked the weapon and upgrade system.. but the levels were too long. the game gets really boring by like the 4th level. mabey if u made the levels shorter and enemies worth more then it would keep your attention longer. good game tho deffinately

getting there

It was enjoyable at first but soon got very tedious. Here are a few points I felt like I should bring up

1. more interesting weapons or multiple weapons at a time. there are so many paths to take in upgrading your weapons and they are all pretty similar, or completely useless. The balls that shoot out to either side a useless, they dont kill anything, and would only be an advantage if you still had a forward firing weapon.

2. why does your dragon get really slow on level 4 or something. perhaps its a glitch, but it was really annoying and I had to buy the speed upgrade just to move as fast as I did at the beginning of the game.

3. why the seige engines, interesting at first, but on level 5 its almost entirely seige engines, they take too long to kill, dont give you much cash, and block your projectiles so you cant kill the birds at a distance.

I like the game though, and hope you make a sequel with some of the firt's problems fixed. I suggest going to some abandonware site and finding a copy of Raptor, since It does an almost near perfect job of being a top down shooter with a money and shop system built into it.

everyone pat doomguy232 on the back for being a complete and total waste of biological flesh!

The game has interesting concept, but the handling is a bit lackidasical and the weapons become more random than skill, and the damage amount ontop of the natural inaccuracy leaves a bit to be desired. It's neat, and definately could evolve into something better, just try to tweak it or give the player some choice.

A good idea might be to allow multiple spells at once :D
