Oversold, ugly, and unfun.
Alright, Ima give a nice long review here. Mostly because I've nothing better to do.
The graphics were...sub-par. Nothing really incredible, and I saw all these hideous pixels surrounding Kirby, it needs some clean-up. And hile the anti-climactic slowness of Mario at the start was kinda funny, it lost it's charm after a few moments. And I don't understand why he was trying to destroy the Castle.
The Style......is good. I like the choice of music.....but calling it "The Ultimate Battle of Ultimate sprites" is over-selling yourself. It's not that good. No offense. But it isn't.
The sound....eh. The whole point of those two fight anthems from Rocky were to be a strong overtone and really pull you in. Here, they were quieter, not as noticeable. I mean, the sound of Mario shooting a fireball should NOT be louder than what should be a Montage tune. The songs were misused.
Violence.....eh. Meh, not terribly clever, or fun to watch, suffers largely from a poor framerate and lack of animation in the characters.
Interactivity scores a 1 for the play buttons.
It was kinda funny to start, then went downhill quickly. And I do mean quickly.
Overall, this isn't anything terribly fun, or something I'd watch again. The sprites need some serious clean-up, and more animation. The slow-motion was a bitch, and since you're too lazy (as you said in a previous review) to fix it, I don't see why I should continue writing this review.......
