Reviews for "The grey Room"

i still can't get it!

after you unlock the upper cabinet, what do you do with it? and what do you do with the paper and the little white dot? tell me! your games are hard!

I think......

this is a great game.....but! I cannot beat it, because I think I am missing something. You can't see where a spot is to click (to move), so you just have to randomly click around the edges of the game, which overall makes it frustrating. Maybe the edge could light up a bit or something, to make it a little less frustrating.
I DO like that you avoided throwing music in here, THANK YOU.
And the graphics were pretty sharp, if not a little bland.

To me, it looks like you worked very hard on this, so congratulations on a really good, AND FRUSTRATING, game.

I think you are right, and I so I have updated the Authors comment!

Oh no!

Oh no! I'm stuck in a room... Again... Freaking... Seems like that happens more and more nowadays... Oh well.

Overall this is just another addition to the plethora of similar room games that exist. Don't get me wrong though, this is a quality submission, and definitely worthy of its spot in the portal.

My one gripe is that there is no translated version of the text on the page... Yes, the US is a little slow in entering the world community, and yes, I am a stupid american who only knows one language and whose boss will probably be Indian one day, but it would be kinda nice to have things in an understandable language. Maybe you could just have one language on the top of the page and another on the bottom. Or, if you want your flash to be accessible to ALL, simply have puzzles that don't require any language what-so-ever.

Eh, don't let my ignorance drag you down too much, good job.

SPOILER ALERT ---) WALKTHROUGH

1) Get the book from the shelf
2) Open the book to the 5th page, click on the lower left corner of the left page to get a key.
3) Click on the top of the door to find the 1st bead
4) Go to the room with a safe on the ground, click at the top of the room, to discover a fuse box, open it with the key from the book.
6) Flip the switch to on (remember that switch)
7) Click on the top of the fuse box until you find another key
8) Get to the room with desk, first drawer contains the 2nd bead.
9) Open the second drawer with the key from the fuse box, you will get a fuse.
10) Now turn the portrait until you see the corner of a yellow paper.
10) Get back to the room with a safe and input the code 185332, and the clock needles that there inside.
11) Get to the clock's room, put the two beads on the lower part, then add the clock needle in the center of it and set them to 7:15
13) Get back to the fuse box and insert the fuse , flip the switch back off.
14) Go back to the first room, open the door, and flee !
