Doesn't reach its potential.
The true mark of a FF fan is a fear and hatred of tonberries. That being said, I don't understand how this flash got such a high score. Most of the attempts at humor completely fail, and the story moved along with agonizing slowness--especially in regards to the 8-bit homage at the beginning. I could hardly tell Whist and Jackal apart, and often the action is just confusing. You could have at least tried to come up with a reason for Jackal being thrown in jail. Sometimes the humor succeeds--the Wal-Mart send up is really good--and the graphics are pretty well done, but the negatives greatly overwhelm the positives.
