Not sure.... this is the second submisson I have had of Metal slug in the last while.
Not bad.
This isn't bad. It certainly leaves room for improvement, but ya gotta start somewhere.
First, the bad:
Main problem is that everything is so...well, slow. It was all just kind of slow.
It also seemed kind of random. It was like a few random scenes thrown together, with some mild exposition.
Now, the good:
The spritework is handle pretty well, the backgrounds are fine and good, and the sound, though lacking the punch of music in certain spots, is still fine.

A bit quiet and slow moving
This was quite good and im sure it will improve in the second episode. I think there should have been a bit more story in this episode and also i think that the scene in the allied base was WAAY to slow moving. I think you should have increased the rate at which the germans came in at as well as more explosions and shooting (think about a war and bullets flying everywhere like a war film or game e.g. call of duty or saving private ryan). looking forward to part 2
what was the point of this flash?
That was unbelievably boring, nothing really happened. The scenes with "fighting' were boring and drawn out, and you could only see half of the "battle". You really need to step it up if you're going to try for a series, think about what you are actually trying to do with the flash, otherwise it ends up going nowhere. This flash had no story or humor, and at many times didn't even make sense. If you're going to use sprites, especially the overused metal slug ones, you need to have alot of substance to make something worthwhile.
