You definately have potential, especially this being the first Flash you made. I saw this was 200 something kb and thought it would be absolute crap, and being a clock movie didnt help my assumption either.
But actually it was pretty decent, and I liked it. One of the few clock movies that I have ever said that about. You were patient enough to make a decent flash movie, and thats good. I hope this one makes it.
