Needs a little work
The biggest problem is the hit detection. Its super buggy. If you run into your opponent, you often get stuck together and you both take a bunch of damage. Also, you bounce all over the place so its pretty hard to move around. Some of the sound samples are very low quality too.
The idea is certainly a good one though. I'd like to see an updated version with better hit detection and controls. I'd be surprised if you didn't make front page if you fix the problems.

Yeah, a hittest thingie is always a big mess. (but I seen each other get stuck in each other pretty rare.)
About the sound sample quality- it's all the matter of file size limit.
I had to shrink all music and sound tracks to lowest, yet acceptable quality. (with a top notch sound quality it is about 8 MB! NG would not allow me to upload that!!)
For some reason it runs around 24 FPS instead of 30! :(
It has the potential to be great
But right now, the controls are hard to operate and gameplay isn't very good because of it. If you could make better control in the game this might be one of my favourite games.
Noone answers me, what they mean by better controlls!?
USE MOUSE? CHANGE ARROW KEYS TO WASD? OR MAKE PLAYERS MOVE WITHOUT EASING!?!?
NO WAY- I aint gonna get rid of easing! That would suck. it's all matter of getting used to.

this is a great idea. the controls, gameplay, and graphics need to be refined, but otherwise, thi is a great work in progress. some weapons are particularly cheap and some weapons just plain suck. i think you need to develop some way of using more strategy and not just hoping you get a good item when you grab the box.

in this case either you avoid boxes keeping what you have, or get greedy and wish for something better in the pickup :)
Very good but...
When i would kill someone, they would hover right under the screen and you could see the wings. Other than that, very good game
