Reviews for "Shed a Tear for Terrorism"

A bit corny for my taste

It ended too abruptly as well. The first few scenes were good, but it just went downhill from there.

Besides, since when do terrorists look like anime characters and can smuggle guns onto planes?

YES!!

TERRORISM RULES!!!

well done

its true that terrorism is bad, and this shows that but it also gives a little humanity to terrorists. they are people, people. remember that

Good

Obviously, within a cultural context North Americans and Americans should always remember what happened on Sept 11, 2001. What also needs to be remembered though is not where to assign blame for what happened, but how as a community things like this can be prevented from happening again. (note: end rant)
As to your piece specifically - despite the broken hand aspect, it was extremely well Drawn and fluidly animated. The airport "take off" scene technically could have been more accurate as planes don't take off from there (as I am sure you are aware), but that is nitpicking and doesn't effect the score of this flash.
While I prefer original sound compositions over someone else's produced work, the music choice I felt was appropriate and the sound effects were decent as well.
Violence wasn't misused and appropriate to the flash.

Finally, as previously noted, the flash itself is good in that it helps to remind us of the events of 9/11/01, but elsewise doesn't give any excessively strong message. Yes, terrorism is bad and the answer to why is obvious, but what should we as the audience do about it? Anyway, those are just some thoughts. Cheers!

Graphics were okay...

But just okay. Otherwise, a pretty poor job... Not sure why this got a good review. It really wasn't that moving, and infact I expected it to be a bigger tug on the heartstrings to try to grab for a higher rating, but it wasn't even that.
