Beautiful without depth

It goes without saying that the graphics and animation for this is absolutely stunning, breathtaking, incredible (the adjective list goes on).

What is missing from this flash however is depth. For the most part it's just two characters singing, with the exception of the one dramatic scene. But because of that one scene, I wanted more. I thought an actually storyline could have been put into this video really easily, thus making it much more enjoyable.

Also, small recommendation for us people who can only speak English, I would say add the english subtitles right into the flash, so we can attach visual images to lyrical ones.

If you were to add some kind of storyline, or visuals than this could easily become a phenomenonal flash. Keep up the great work, I know I'll be watching.

A well presented music video

But unfortunatly, us Newgrounders are hard to please.

The animation was great, should have been smoother in certain places, but was fantastic anyways. I remeber the character from DrLove and i'm overwhelmed that you've got another character.

But what us Newgrounders want something more than a music video of your characters, we want storyline or a comedy. This was just a bunch of well animated characters with little background.

I'm sure if you do a good comedy with these characters, you'll be able to get frontpage.

The lipsync was ok... it seemed better towards the ending, but you needed to add slightly more detail to the mouths, because it is seen so much, you shouldn't underanimate.
To make the lipsync better, add more mouths to the character, have a look at JackSmack's animation tutorial 3.

So, in future, add more to the background, and add some comedy storyline (comedys generally only have 1 or 2 backgrounds because they are generally shorter).

And, for future reference, i think you should have a look at the "V-Cam", perform a google search, and you should find an article about it, and a .fla to download. It's an "in flash" camera that you can tween and fade so you can have interesting camera shots. Just don't over-use it as it should be used subtley.

It might be interesting to think about doing simple shading on the characters when they arn't in lights, but it might ruin the style. But it is worth thinking about.

pretty good

The only thing missing was english sub-titles. The song sounded beautiful. The guitar work is excellent. I like the characters. Its a nice movie. The simpliness of it all complimented it in this case. The rain effect was nice.
Good little music vid I just wiish I knew what they were singing.

Great animation

I loved your characters, they were incredible. I really don't have too much to say about this movie. I mean the characters were what did it for me, the expressions and everything it was a pure delight :)

The ghostly characters were a great choice for this sad song. I loved the simple yet with care drawn graphics. Good lipsync too. Simply beautiful.
