Reviews for "The 8-Bit Wizard"

Nice quiz

I scored 430/600.

I think the music was annoying though. I think you could've used a track that had a longer loop.

And a lot of the questions were ridiculous. Asking us what types of light frequencies and other technical crap the NES used..? How many health boxes? C'mon...

And I'm upset you didn't mention Bubble Bobble. That's my favortie NES game...

Interesting...

Scored a 370/600. You should've included more music options (including turning it off completely) or made the one song loop every 4 minutes or so, just so that it didn't get annoying to hear.

The questions asked were very interesting and made me smile a lot when I got to a couple of them -- NOSTALGIA CENTRAL! Unfortunately, most of the questions I got wrong were on NES games that I never played as a child. Also, I think some of the video game-specific questions could've been replaced with questions based on the origin of character names (eg: Who is Mario named after?) or famous slogans for certain games (here's an easy one: What was the slogan Nintendo marketed for the NES?)

Overall, this was a very good questionaire and I hope to see more work from you in the future! Maybe you'll make one for the SNES? =) Good luck and good job!

MajinPiccolo responds:

In the upcoming 16-Bit Wizard, I will be adding three selectable tracks and an off button.

wuooo 400 points

wow, loooong test xD, i think 40 answers out of 60 is a good thing..lolXD

nice thing u got, now try to make it of SNES and i may get a higher score...i hope xD

MajinPiccolo responds:

SNES is coming soon in the upcoming 16-Bit Wizard. Glad you enjoyed it, 400 is a good score ^_^

540/600

Aw-yeah! One thing that could be an improment is the music, it kinda gets annoying after a while, give more songs and/or a stop button. And something that would make it easier would be video clips, or examples. But overall, this is really fun for all hardcore gamers.

Waaaaaaaaay to long.

I personally never owned a NES but I still knew some of the answers (280/600). If you ask me this thing is way to long and the music got annoying, fast, but i guess it gave it the "crappy NES game your grandma bought you in the year 2003" feel to it. Good idea, but it would be better if it had somthing like a ranking system of some sort. You should make more trivia games like this =P
GL with future projects.
