But, I'm not a fan of using characters from a show/movie, etc. It just doesn't seem original. It'd be more understandable if it was a comedic look on Samurai Champloo, but it feels like you're just trying to copy the anime.
I love this anime myself, and your art skills are great, but you really need to improve on making your images more smooth.
